Η Lola εμπνεύστηκε από τα εφυαλωμένα κεραμικά αγγεία που ο David και η κόρη του Lola διακόσμησαν στο στούντιο του καλλιτέχνη κεραμικής Pascale Girardin από το Μόντρεαλ. Ο Girardin χρησιμοποίησε την ίδια προσέγγιση πινελιάς για να δημιουργήσει χειροποίητα σκάφη sake για το νέο εστιατόριο Nobu Downtown του Rockwell Group στο Lower Manhattan. Η σύνθεση του χαλιού εκφράζει την ίδια αυθόρμητη κίνηση και ροή πινελιών που εμφανίζονται στα αγγεία.
